Storytown Theme 2 Review Week

This week we will assess all that students have learned about English Language Arts in the second theme of Storytown, Getting the Job Done. That includes a mock Spelling Bee, Writing Workshop Theme task, and the Theme 2 Assessment. You can practice the skills developed throughout this unit by reviewing what students have done in the textbook and practice book or visiting Think Central for supplemental practice tools (at http://www.harcourtschool.com/storytown/). Remember the username and password are included in the syllabus which was distributed at Curriculum Night.

School-Home Connection

Welcome to a new week! This week we will be practicing Multiplication and Division on Study Island and tonight I am asking students to create an atractive travel brochure about one of the 5 ecosystems studied. There is a great, FREE tool for making a brochure available at ReadWriteThink. Feel free to use that instead of making the brochure by hand.
